Dr. Tsang has devoted two decades to the ongoing challenges of the digital age as an information scientist and an executive officer in Taiwan, working with both public and private entities. His accomplishments include the design and deployment of information security mechanisms in support of the Taiwanese intelligence community. Dr. Tsang currently serves as the CIO (Chief Information Officer) in 104 Corp. (Job Bank). In 1972, Dr. Tsang was born in Taipei, and attended the National Tsing Hua University to earn a BS in Computer Science in 1995. He earned an MS in Computer Science and Information Engineering in National Taiwan University in 1997 and a Ph.D. in Information Management in National Taiwan University in 2011. Dr. Tsang worked as an information security officer with the rank of captain for the National Security Bureau of Taiwan from 1997 to 2005. From 1998 to 2001, he also served as an adjunct lecturer at the National Open University of Taiwan.
Dr. Tsang moved into the private sector in 2005 as playing a consultant role with different companies. In 2009, he became the director of Payeasy Digital Integration Co., Ltd., an e-commerce company. Dr. Tsang then became the CIO for the company in 2011 before moving on to Trend Micro Inc. as the senior director of global data center service department. He currently serves as the CIO of 104 Corp. (Job Bank).
For his achievements in securing information infrastructure, Dr. Tsang was awarded the 2010 Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Award and the 2005 Outstanding Contribution Award from the National Security Bureau. He was selected for inclusion in six volumes of Who's Who in the World from 2011 to 2016, the 2012 volume of Who's Who in Asia, and three volumes of Who's Who in Science and Engineering in 2008, 2011, and 2016.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Dr. Tsang has been featured on the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievers website.
