Additionally, he is certified in radiation oncology physics through the American College of Medical Physics, and a diplomate in therapeutic radiological physics through the American Board of Radiology. In order to remain active and engaged among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the American Association of Medical Physics and the American College of Radiology. Notably, he has won many awards throughout his career. In 2015 and 2016, he was featured in the 69th and 70th editions of Who's Who in America. Looking ahead, Dr. Vanek intends to continue mentoring the future generation of medical physicists.
