PERRY HALL, MD, August 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Edwin Harold Rosenberg a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Rosenberg celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Rosenberg dedicated most of his professional life to solving puzzles and supporting reporting for Johns Hopkins Hospital and John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, where he held the position of senior programmer analyst. In this role, he created financial reports needed so they could better analyze the performance of their departments financially and also have more detailed patient reports. Mr. Rosenberg transformed the reporting ability taking it to a higher level. He also generated a great deal of data, which was ultimately sent to a presidential candidate, the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and Library of Congress, to analyze the status of healthcare from the perspective of Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
He served for over two decades at an institution that operates six academic and community hospitals, four suburban health care and surgery centers, and 39 primary and specialty care outpatient sites. The facility has been ranked number one by U.S. News & World Report for 22 years.
Mr. Rosenberg was born in Baltimore and earned his Bachelor of Science at nearby Towson University. His early work was spent at the Gerontology Research Center at the National Institute on Aging in the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore. He served as a research psychologist from 1983 to 1992, focusing on the cognitive performance of participants in the Baltimore Longitudinal Study for a decade in search of early cognitive markers of Alzheimer's Disease. He received a Sustained Superior Performance award for his work. In 1984, he earned a second Bachelor of Science from Towson University, and in 1993, he accepted a post at the Johns Hopkins Health Systems, where he stayed until his eventual retirement.
The challenge this time was the puzzle of creating more detailed reports and more extensive summaries. Nevertheless, Mr. Rosenberg triumphed and received the title of senior programmer analyst. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Rosenberg also contributed to articles to multiple professional journals.
For his tireless work and persistence, Mr. Rosenberg has been selected for inclusion in multiple volumes of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. He enjoys online learning, the violin, occasionally performing in concerts with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as an amateur, science, science fiction, and fittingly, crossword puzzles and number puzzles. Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Academy. He has earned certificates of achievements from MITx, an online learning initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Mr. Rosenberg has been featured on the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievers website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
