Department Metropolitan Police, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Civil Service Commission, and the Superior Court of DC, where he retired as a senior judge in 2013.
A graduate of Howard University, New York University, and the Federal Executive Institute, Mr. Burnett holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws. In order to remain active among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with such associations as the Washington Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, the National Bar Association and the American Bar Association, through which he's earned multiple awards. Throughout his career, he has contributed his extensive knowledge to the New York University Law Review and has published many legal articles.
A dedicated and respected figure in his vocation, he has been recognized many times for his revered work in the field of law.
