In order to remain engaged and active within the field, Mr. Simpson has affiliated himself with the American College of Health Care Executives, the Virginia and American Hospital Associations and the Richmond Academy of Medicine. He has received Distinguished Service Awards from both the Virginia Healthcare and Hospital Association and the Richmond Academy of Medicine. In addition to his status as a hard-working figure in the demanding profession of health administration, he has been recognized on many occasions for his professional accomplishments, earning the Edgar C. Hayhow and Regent Awards from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Simpson has been featured in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
