Mr. Bayenet's favorite tools are the European Convention on Human Rights and the United Nation Convention Against Torture, two conventions that he has deployed to offer protection for victims of state violence. Mr. Bayenet has frequently defended the right of housing exercised by clients who were evicted with no judicial decision and no established safeguards. Many of his cases are considered landmark precedents in Swiss law.
