With nearly 50 years of industry experience under his belt, Dr. Dubovsky excels in the field as a Professor and Chair of the Psychiatry Department at the University at Buffalo's Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Earlier in his career, he started as an intern with Vancouver General Hospital. From there, he became a resident in psychiatry, before obtaining his first role as faculty member with the University of Colorado' s Medical School where he was a Professor of Psychiatry and Medicine, as well as Interim Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, Associate Dean, and Associate Medical Director of the General Clinical Research Center. Over the years, he also lent his expertise to numerous other medical schools, including King Saud University, Cornell Medical School, and the University of California, as well as Fitzsimmons Anny Hospital, Colorado Psychiatric Hospital, and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, among others.
A graduate of the prestigious New York University, Dr. Dubovsky holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MD. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American College of Physicians, and is on the editorial boards of a number of journals. He is an active researcher, teacher and clinician.
In addition to his status as an esteemed and versatile figure in his industry, Dr. Dubovsky has been awarded on numerous occasions for his professional accomplishments. Since the mid-1980s, Dr. Dubovsky has been featured in one volume each of Who' s Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, and Who' s Who in Science and Engineering, and two volumes each of Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
