He also served as a visiting professor at various other institutions, including Overseas Chinese University, National Taipei University of Technology, the National Law University of Jodhpur, and the National Law University of Delhi, India, she has also spent time as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Law in the Chinese Academy of Social Science.
A chartered scientist certified by the British Science Council and chartered chemist certified by the Royal Society of Chemistry, Dr. Wang first earned a PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College, University of London, and later studied law, receiving an LLM at SooChow University. Since earning her LLM, she has been a visiting scholar at Chief Judge Randall R. Rader's Chamber in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, the Competition and Tax Law in Munich, the Center of International Intellectual Property at the University of Strasbourg, and the Institute of Law in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, among others.
Prior to accepting her teaching position at the university in 2006, Dr. Wang was a patent analyst for JCIP Group, LLC, as well as a new product planning manager for MSD. Furthermore, Dr. Wang worked as a department manager in the medical regulatory department and the medical affairs department for Takeda Taiwan, and a healthcare business unit director for Microlife. The chief executive officer, founder, and chair of the China Biomedical Technology Application Association since 2002, Dr. Wang is also a member of the Korea Commercial Cases Association and the Licensing Executive Society.
Additionally, Dr. Wang was a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists, where she served as a research member in 2004, and the Royal Society of Chemistry, where she became a certified chartered chemist in 1996. Dr. Wang holds several patents in her field, and has been named to the 12th edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering for 2016, and the last four editions of Who's Who in the World.
