After three years, he transferred his expertise to SUNY Binghamton, where he served as a research assistant and doctoral student for an additional three years. He is the only engineering student to receive the Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Research at Binghamton in 2012. A graduate of Jordan University of Science and Technology and the State University of New York at Binghamton, Dr. Hamasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering. His professional affiliations include the Society for Engineering & Management Systems, the Society for Health Systems, the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the International Microelectronic and Packaging Society, and the Surface Mount Technology Association. Throughout his career, he has contributed his knowledge to a plethora of publications, including "aluminum induced crystallization of hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films with assistant of electric field for solar photovoltaic applications" and "analysis of service delivery system using Markov chain approach and M/G/1 queuing systems."
An expert in his field, Dr. Hamasha has been recognized many times for his professional endeavors, earning numerous research awards through Binghamton University, and an Award for Academic Excellence through the Jordan Engineers Association.
