INDIANAPOLIS, IN, October 02, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles P. Ward has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
The Ward and Ward Law Firm in Indianapolis is a family business led by Mr. Ward and his father, Donald W. Ward, who established their partnership in 1994 with Mr. Ward as an owner and partner. Their practice has garnered successful outcomes for clients in automotive accidents, semi tractor-trailer accidents, medical malpractice, asbestos litigation, slip and fall litigation, as well as aviation and railroad accidents. When the unthinkable occurs, the firm also handles estate planning and wrongful death cases to help protect the families of their clients. Together, they make sure that "each of their clients receives the best representation, respect, and consideration."
Born to Donald and Veronica Ward, Mr. Ward lost his cousin at the age of 17 to a drunk driving accident, and a family friend, also a minor, in a plane crash. At the time there was no wrongful death action available for minors under Indiana law. Soon thereafter, his father played a part in changing the wrongful death law in Indiana, which led Mr. Ward the younger to become intrigued with legal practice and helping others. He attended Butler University to receive a BA, cum laude, in 1985, and went on to attend the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University, where he earned a JD in 1989. Mr. Ward was admitted to practice with the state of Indiana, as well as the U.S. District Court in the Northern and Southern Districts of the state. He entered practice as a law clerk with Justice Richard M. Givan of the Indiana Supreme Court from 1990 to 1991, and quickly established his partnership with his father.
Mr. Ward attributes his success to keeping in contact with his past clients, and genuinely cares about them long after representing them. He is one hundred percent committed to his practice, and has represented over 3,000 clients and grown as many fruitful relationships. Mr. Ward is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Inns of Court, and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He was selected as the state delegate with the prestigious Association of Trial Lawyers of America, as well as a governor of the Young Lawyers Divisions from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Ward is further distinguished as an AV Preeminent Rated lawyer with Martindale-Hubbell, and an honoree of the Sagamore American Inn of Courts. He is the co-author of "Journey's Account Statute: Litigator's Little-Known Friend."
The Ward family has been a reliable legal presence in Indianapolis, and further enriched with Mr. Ward's marriage to Victoria A. Ward, as well as his children, Charles Patrick Ward Jr., Christopher Michael Ward, and Alice M. Ward. He has four grandchildren, McKenzie, Noah, Bella, and Emma Ward. In his spare time, Mr. Ward enjoys fly fishing, snow skiing, running, hiking, and biking. To enlist the Wards in legal representation, please visit https://www.wardlawfirm.com
