EL CAJON, CA, October 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Beverly Anne Brodsky with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Brodsky celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Brodsky is a consultant, writer, and counselor who experienced a near-death experience 47 years ago, which was only given a voice with inclusion in the International Association for Near-Death Studies after 18 years of silence. Ms. Brodsky's story is the final and most complete story in the book, "Lessons from the Light" in 2006, written by Dr. Kenneth Ring. She has since dedicated her life to giving her experience meaning as a spiritual life coach, researcher, former president of the Delaware Valley Near-Death Studies, founding board member of the American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences, and president of the San Diego chapter of the International Association for Near-Death Studies for the past 15 years. Under her leadership, the group became a registered nonprofit in 2014.
The daughter of Louis and Florence Elaine Singer, Ms. Brodsky was born on June 23, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a child, she had her tonsils removed preventively, and had her near-death experience while under sedation. Later, as an adult, she had another experience following a motorcycle accident that led her to be the first person ever interviewed on the subject of near-death experiences on Israeli Public Radio in June 2003. Her experience has appeared the BBC documentary, "The Human Body: An Intimate Universe," and on Chinese satellite television, as well as the documentaries "New Light on Near Death: Come Home to Perfection," and "Home and Back." More recently, she was featured in Christine Spensor's "Pathways to Peace" in 2012, the latest documentation of her account in printed form. Other publications that have featured Ms. Brodsky include Arvin Gibson's "They Saw Beyond Death", PMH Atwater's "The New Children and Near-Death Experiences", Kevin Williams' "Nothing Better than Death", and Philip Winkleman's "The Art of Purposeful Being".
Ms. Brodsky initially worked as a federal analysis, but has dedicated her recent years to her work with near-death experiences as a researcher, honorary minister, and speaker. As an alumna of Vassar College, she earned a BA in psychology, cum laude, with general and departmental honors and was supported by a scholarship from Vassar. She also participated in a pilot program with the Resonance Academy of the Hawaii Institute of Unified Physics in 2015, and is an ordained minister of the Los Angeles Community Church of Religious Science. Ms. Brodsky has been honored with membership in Phi Beta Kappa, where she was a secretary in 2001. In addition to features in other authors' works, she has been a prolific freelance writer, as well as an assistant producer of 2008's "Reflections Beyond and Back" and "Life Before her Eyes."
