Earlier in his career, he served as a research scholar in the department of radiology for Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
A graduate of Yonsei University, Dr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science and PhD in Radiological Science. His professional affiliations include The Korean Society for Digital Imaging in Medicine, The International Society for Optics and Photonics, The Korean Radiological Technologists Association, and the Korean Society of Medical Physics. Throughout his career, he has contributed his breadth of knowledge to such journals as the International Journal for Light and Electron Optics, the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences, and the Journal of Instrumentation, covering topics ranging from chest digital tomosynthesis to dose optimization for dual-energy contrast-enhanced digital mammographies.
Beyond his status as a hard-working and respected figure in his field, Dr. Lee has been awarded many times for his professional endeavors, including earning an Oral Presentation Award through The Korean Radiological Technologists Association, and the Young Investigator Award through the Asia Oceania Congress of Medical Physics. In the coming years, Dr. Lee intends to experience the upward trajectory of his career and the expansion of his research.
