A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Hansung University and Kyung Hee University, Dr. Lee holds a Master of Public Administration specializing in Hospital Administration, a PhD in Production and Operations Management, and a second PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In order to remain active and engaged in the field, she affiliates herself with the Decision Sciences Institute, Pan-Pacific Business Association, The Korean Production and Operations Management Society, The Korean Academic Association of Business Administration, The Korean Service Management Society, and The Korean Society for Quality Management.
Since 2009, Dr. Lee has lent her expertise in the field to a number of prestigious publications, including International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, The Service Industries Journal, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, Service Business, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, and many others. Along with others, she has researched topics from healthcare service quality (HEALTHQUAL) and supply chain innovation within hospitals to service quality, operational innovation and productivity in the service and manufacturing industry.
Beyond her status as a hard-working and respected figure in her field, Dr. Lee has been recognized many times for her work in the field, earning Outstanding Paper Awards through The Korean Academic Association of Business Administration and the Pan-Pacific Business Association, as well as the Gerald L.
