Passing the New York Bar in 1986, the D.C. Bar in 1988, and the California State Bar in 1990, Ms. Morgenthaler's experience began in 1981 while working as a law clerk for the City of Springfield, Missouri, not far from where she grew up. Landing her first role as an attorney for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C., she transitioned into becoming an associate attorney for the international law firm of K & L Gates (then Kirkpatrick & Lockhart) in its Washington, D.C. office within just a few years. Later, she worked at the large wall-street law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in its Washington, D.C. office.
In 1989, Ms. Morgenthaler was recruited to join the Los Angeles law firm now known as Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard, Avchen & Shapiro, LLC, a full-service law firm in Los Angeles known for its powerhouse litigation practice. She became a partner in the firm in 2001. After gaining a tremendous amount of experience at Glaser, Weil, Ms. Morgenthaler founded her own firm, Morgenthaler Law Group, Inc., in 2011, very confident in her abilities and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Today, her firm continues to gain speed as she builds a reputation that has been built on exceptional service and results.
Contributing her good fortune and expertise to serving her community, Ms. Morgenthaler is a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Residential Citizens Foundation, an organization that owns and operates a residential community for disabled adults, the South Brentwood Residents Association and the Mayfield Gardens Townhomes Association.
