Since 2016, Dr. Tantardini has served as a professor of public administration for Penn State Harrisburg. Prior to obtaining this position, he lent his expertise to Florida International University as a teaching assistant and a research assistant, while working on his Ph.D. Over the last five years, he has also worked on the board of directors for the South Florida chapter of the American Society for Public Administration and he is currently on the board of directors for the Central Pennsylvania chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
A graduate of Bocconi University, and Florida International University, Dr. Tantardini holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and the Management of Public Administration and International Institutions, a Master of Science in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Institutions, and a PhD in Public Affairs. In order to remain active and engaged among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management, and The American Society for Public Administration.
Throughout his career thus far, Dr. Tantardini has authored a number of articles published in preeminent academic journals including Public Performance & Management Review, Review of Public Personnel Administration, and International Public Management Journal. Notably, he has been recognized many times for his professional accomplishments, earning the Morris W.H. Collins Award through the Southeastern Conference for Public Administration as well as the Jean-Claude Garcia-Zamor Award through The American Society for Public Administration's Section on International and Comparative Administration.
