    CHICAGO, IL, November 29, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Mr. Terry F. Moritz with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Moritz has been recognized his professional achievements, leadership qualities, and the societal contributions. Mr. Moritz was born on December 24, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, is highly regarded lawyer who has contributed to his profession as a lawyer, educator, and author. Mr. Moritz attended Loyola University, where he graduated with a BA in English in 1966 and was awarded a JD degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1970. He began his legal carrier as a law clerk in the Federal District Court in Chicago. Mr Moritz then joined the firm of Isham, Lincoln and Beale and left that firm as a partner in 1980. Mr. Moritz then spent a short time at Rudnick and Wolfe (now DLA Piper) and then helped to found Goldberg, Kohn, Bell, Black, Rosenbloom and Moritz, Mr. Moritz created the firms highly successful litigation group and chaired it for 25 years. In 2014 Mr. Moritz formed his own firm Terry F. Moritz LLC using his broad experience to resolve legal disputes as a mediator and arbitrator.

Mr. Moritz has had a broad and varied legal career. He was deeply involved in the reorganization of both the Rock Island Railroad and the Milwaukee Road. In the Rock Island proceeding he represent First Mortgage Bond Holders. In the Milwaukee Road proceedings, he represented various governmental entities and was lead counsel for the Trade Creditors. As a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois he prevailed in the landmark Goldberg Sweet Telecommunications Tax Decision in the U.S. the Supreme Court. He has had many other notable professional successes. As an arbitrator and mediator Mr. Moritz is certified by numerous United States based and International organizations.

Mr. Moritz has written and spoken on a wide variety of legal issues ranging from the anti-trust implication of energy deregulation to consumer arbitration. Mr. Moritz authored the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education's practice handbook, "Business, Law and the Internet" (2002), which received an Award for Outstanding Achievement for 2002 from the Association of Continuing Legal Education Administrators. Mr. Moritz also contributes the growth of his profession as an adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University.

Mr. Moritz civic activities are extensive and varied. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Loyola University School of Law and serves on the Board of the Big Shoulders Fund, a major Chicago charitable organization. He is President of Resolution Systems Institute an organization that develops programs to assist the underserved in resolving dispute within the legal system. He has served as President of the Society for Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago; as President of the Board of Trustees for the Philadelphia based Center for Wood Art; and as a member of the Board of Directors and finance committees for both the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and the Arts Club of Chicago.
