On behalf of First Savings Bank in Manhattan, KS, Mr. Seaton chaired the organization for several years and continues to serve as chairman for the Manhattan Broadcasting Company for nearly 20 years. Locally, he sat on the American Cancer Society, Inc., as chair of the Kansas division, was board director for Harvard Alumni Association, chair of the Audubon of Kansas, and attorney general of the Kansas Republican Party. He also chaired the board for the Kansas Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, Inc.
Admitted to practice by the Kansas Bar Association in 1963, the U.S. District Court of Kansas, the Eight and Tenth Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States, Mr. Seaton first completed his Bachelor's degree at Harvard University and LLB at Harvard University Law School. He has contributed his expertise over the year by authoring articles in numerous professional journals such as the "Washburn Law Journal," the "Journal of the Kansas Bar Association," and the "Kansas Law Review" and by serving on the board of editor for the "Kansas Bar Journal."
Mr. Seaton served his country in the U.S. Army at Fort Devens in the early 1960s. Honored by being named to The Best Lawyers in America in Education Law in 2016, The Best Lawyers in America in First Amendment Law in 2016, named Lawyer of the Year by Lawyers Weekly U.S.A., and cited in both Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in America, Mr. Seaton is AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubble.
