Very active in his community, he is also well-known for having established several local businesses over the years, including Oak Grove Golfing, the 34th Street Grocery, Kamper Kampanza Kampground, and Nowe Insurance Agency. Well-rounded and well-educated, Mr. Nowe is also an active licensed real estate agent who dabbles in the real estate industry.
Born in Gloucester, MA, in 1946, Mr. Nowe studied at Hesser College in Manchester, NH. He has served as chairman of the Wildlife and Marine Resources Committee, and was recognized as a committee whip, legislative administration chairman, sheriff committee chairman, and member of the long-range planning committee for the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Since 2001, Mr. Nowe has been serving as a volunteer deputy sheriff/field training officer for Hudson, is a advisory board member of the Public Water Access, and vice chair of the planning board for Epping, NH. He is a licensed public water and distribution operator in the state of New Hampshire.
Locally, Mr. Nowe has served as a junior vice commander and is a current member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is also a longtime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and Masons. He has served as a U.S. Army combat engineer.
Honored with a 2000 Centennial Award from the National Wild Life Federation, Mr. Nowe was one of only four men to receive this award in New Hampshire. He has been cited in close to 40 editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Politics, and Who's Who in the East.
