With more than 10 years of experience in the field, Dr. Carasco-Saul is an expert in personal and organization development, and founded the consulting firm Talent en Flore Ltd. in 2016. As a scholar-practitioner in applied behavioral and social science she is a thought leader on high-potential leader identity development and human process interventions for individuals and groups using executive coaching, process consultation, design thinking, and gestalt-based facilitation. She has served as an executive coach and trusted advisor to C-level leadership teams managing tasks forces for large-scale change initiatives in multiple sectors. In 2017 she became the director of talent strategy and engagement for Leadership for Educational Equity. From 2015 to 2016, she served as the manager of talent development with Bell Helicopter - A Textron Company (now Textron Inc.), and she was also senior human resources business partner with Schlumberger Limited in both Sugar Land, TX and London, UK from 2009 to 2012. Earlier in her career, she provided consulting, research, and fundraising support to nonprofit clients as the principal consultant and owner of Logique Business Solutions in New York, NY from 2006 to 2009.
Dr. Carasco-Saul was born in St. Lucia to Agatha Carasco and Joseph Marshall. She earned a BA in psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY) Brooklyn College in 2003. She went on to complete an MS in nonprofit management from the New School Milano School of International Affairs in 2006, and an MA in industrial-organizational psychology from CUNY-Brooklyn College in 2009. In 2016, she earned a PhD in workforce education and development from the Pennsylvania State University and is currently completing an executive MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management. Additionally, she is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and the National Black MBA Association. She has co-taught in the Engineering Leadership Development Minor at Penn State, and developed online content for Penn State's World Campus, M.P.S. in Organization Development and Change (OD&C).
Throughout her career, Dr. Carasco-Saul has authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters related to her field most recently on the strategic use of Organization Development. She co-authored "Aligning Evaluation to Organizational Strategy" and authored "Evaluating Unmet Needs and Opportunities". She is a lead editor and author in the forthcoming SHRM HR Essentials book series. She has also been recognized for her contributions, having won the Cutting Edge Award from the Academy of Human Resources Development for her work in Leadership and Employee Engagement. Dr. Carasco-Saul was also nominated for the 2017 Outstanding Dissertation Award from the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education (UCWHRE), and the 2017 ATD (Association for Talent Development) Dissertation Award. She holds both the GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Looking toward the future, Dr. Carasco-Saul intends to expand her expertise.
