With 10 years of experience in the industry, Dr. Son has been a principal research engineer for the Information Security Management System at the Korea Association for ICT Promotion since 2014. Prior to obtaining this position, he was a principal research engineer with the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA) from 2013 to 2014. He served as a common criteria evaluator from 2010 to 2012 with the Korea Security Evaluation Laboratory, and from 2008 to 2009 with the infrastructure protection team of KISA. Earlier in his career, he was an outside professor with the Sejong University department of computer science from 2005 to 2008.
Dr. Son began his career as a student at Sejong University, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in 2003, a Master of Engineering in 2005, and a Doctor of English in 2008. A respected voice in the field, he has authored a number of works, including "The Design and Implementation of Location-Aware Service Bundle Manager in Smart Space Environments" and "Design and Implementation of the Intelligent Multi-Agent System Based on Web Services."
Throughout his career, Dr. Son has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including having been awarded scholarship while studying at Sejong University. In addition, he is an honoree of the International Biographical Centre. Looking toward the future, Dr. Son intends to expand upon his expertise.
