A chief of surgery at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital since 2006, Dr. Iseri received his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Mathematics and Computer Science from the College of Idaho in 1990. Earning his MD from the School of Medicine at Oregon Health Science University in 1995, Dr. Iseri completed his surgical residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospital in Saginaw, MI, in 2000. Earlier in his career, he was employed by Hewlett Packard in Boise, ID, as a software and information technology specialist. He is licensed to practice medicine in Oregon, Idaho, and Michigan. Dr. Iseri is currently attending courses at the University of Maryland to obtain a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Business, as well as an MBA.
Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Iseri is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In an effort to raise awareness of his areas of expertise, Dr. Iseri has performed numerous speaking engagements. He was honored with the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from eClinicalWorks EHR, eClinicalWorks LLC, in 2012 and 2013. In addition, Dr. Iseri has been in service with the United States Army National Guard since 1992, and was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in 2014.
Attributing his success to hard work and dedication to his field, Dr. Iseri maintains interests outside of medicine, including woodworking, hunting, fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles, performing martial arts, and painting. Married with two sons, he and his family are active members of the Cadillac Christian Reformed Church.
