Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology, Dr. Krolick has been affiliated with The Heart Institute at Largo, FL, since 1994 as both a physician and director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Specializing in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, he has more than 30 years of experience in his area of expertise. After completing his Bachelor of Science in biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, he studied at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY, where he received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in 1985. Dr. Krolick then completed a rotating internship at Suncoast Osteopathic Hospital in Florida and internal medicine and cardiology training at the University of South Florida, including training in interventional cardiology and cardiac transplantation.
Dr. Krolick has been in clinical practice since 1992. Prior to joining the Largo hospital, he practiced at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA, and Prince William Cardiology in Manassas, VA. He is currently an attending cardiologist at HCA Largo Medical Center, Morton Plant Hospital and HCA Indian Rocks Hospital. He also serves as the co-director of the cardiology fellowship program at HCA Largo Medical Center and is director of the interventional cardiology fellowship. Furthermore, Dr. Krolick has been known for his service as an associate professor in cardiology at both the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

He continues to practice noninvasive cardiology and interventional cardiology and maintains a special interest in peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Krolick's peripheral interests have included endovascular aortic aneurysm treatment and treatment of critical limb ischemia, deep vein thrombosis, venous treatment and treatment of symptomatic claudication.
An elected fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventionalists, Dr. Krolick is the former president, chairman and director of the Pinellas Chapter of the American Heart Association. He has served on various advisory boards, including the panels for Bard Peripheral Vascular, CSI, Access Closure and St. Jude Medical, has spoken at several major vascular meetings, including AMP and The Veins, and has contributed numerous articles in such publications as The New England Journal of Medicine, as well as chapters in cardiovascular textbooks.
Born in New York City, Dr. Krolick has two children. Notably, he has been cited in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.
