BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI, February 12, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Caron McCracken with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. McCracken celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For more than 30 years, Ms. McCracken has been actively involved in volunteer activities in her community, ranging from day-ling neighborhood events requiring brooms and shovels, scarpers and paint brushes, and hammers and nails to long-term projects spanning years and requiring her time in leadership, planning, writing, workshop creation and delivery, and consulting roles. Ms. McCracken's notable involvement as a volunteer in her community is a major factor for her inclusion for this award. Her involvement over the years in these capacities helped spruce up buildings or neighborhoods in the city of Detroit, fed the homeless, provided instruction in various areas of business for would-be entrepreneurs navigating important tipping points in their business operations, provided research for a sitting U.S. Congressman in support of passage for important trademark infringement bill passage, worked on a number of re-election campaigns, most notably, eight years as a volunteer on a U.S. Congressman's campaigns, assisted Bloomfield Township seniors with their taxes through an AARP sponsored program, and much more. Additionally, Ms. McCracken has served on advisory boards, has been a featured speaker on China-US trade, and a SCORE workshop creator and sponsor. She is a published author of professional articles.
Academically, Ms. McCracken got her start at Mott Community College, very common in her era, and received her BS from Central Michigan University, with honors. She taught for two years in the secondary-school system in Michigan. And then pursued an MA at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During this time span as teacher and student she was also an adjunct instructor for Mott Community College over a four-year interim. Before ultimately embarking on her career in information technology (which included opportunities in telecommunications), Ms. McCracken completed pre-med coursework at Wayne State University and was accepted to two programs. Later, she received an MBA, with a focus in finance, from Wayne State University, with high honors (elected to the MBA honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma). Ms. McCracken also expanded her education throughout her career with significant additional university coursework in two foreign languages: Mandarin and Spanish, as well as computer science and mathematics, in addition to her MBA.
Currently, Ms. McCracken enjoys her focus on volunteering for her local Catholic parish, where she contributes at many levels, from working on major annual projects and a number of parish ministry initiatives, to activities and councils where her business and leadership skills are tapped.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Caron McCracken has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
