Akim is credited with caring for these individuals, transforming the lives of over 35,000 children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens as well as over 200 family members.
Ms. Flamm began her career after winning the coveted Metropolitan Opera Guild Award at age 17. Her career spanned many fields with the emphasis on musicals and straight plays, respectively, and the opening of the Studio of the Performing Arts, which was a fulfilled dream of hers.
As a leading voice in the industry, Elayne Flamm has been affiliated with professional organizations in her role as Chairman of the Manhattan Division of Israel Bonds. She is also affiliated with numerous charities including acting President of the Advisory Board of Jezreel International/Veterans Miracle Center in Albany, New York. She supports numerous charities in Palm Beach, Florida, including the International Society of Palm Beach, Grandma's Place, The Great American Songbook, Friends of AFMDA, Israel Cancer Association, The Autism Project and many others.
Throughout her career Ms. Flamm has been recognized for her contributions and chairmanships, exclusively. She was named Fundraiser of the Year in 2009 and has been named one of the top Female Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
Ms. Flamm attributes her success to her deep faith in the Lord God Almighty. Her late husband Donald Flamm, pioneer broadcaster of WMCA and WPAT, Broadway and London stage producer, author of the master plan for the Voice of America, a grand motivator of her accomplishments and her cherished family as well.
Mr. Flamm intends to continue the humanitarian efforts as long as God gives her the ability.
