He is the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts from Union College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Fordham University School of Law. As a member of the Fairfield County Regional Bar Association, the Connecticut and the American Bar Associations, he was recognized as one of the Top Lawyers in Connecticut by Connecticut Magazine and received the Pro Bono Award from the Connecticut Bar Association. Notably, he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Connecticut chapter of the Fordham Law Alumni Association. Most recently, Attorney Reilly has been listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" for 2018.
Outside of his professional obligations, Mr. Reilly is a member of the Norwalk Community College Foundation. With his particular interest in educational leadership, Attorney Reilly served for a dozen years on the Darien, CT Board of Education and the King School Board of Trustees for nine years. A member of the Kiwanis International service organization, Mr. Reilly sponsored the Darien Kiwanis' Annual Golf Tournament for ten years raising funds for college scholarships.
Attorney Reilly served on the Board of Directors of Family Centers, the largest human service organization in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, which led to his being awarded the Ray of Hope award from the Center for Hope of Darien, CT, the Rockefeller "Outstanding Volunteerism Award" from Family Centers and the Family Champion Award from the Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies.
In his hometown of Darien, CT, beyond the Board of Education, Attorney Reilly served on the town's Charter Revision Commission, its Board of Selectmen and chaired its Police Headquarters Building Committee.
