For many years, Dr. Lee has worked as a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Center for New Industries and Convergence Technologies at Ajou University.

For many years, Dr. Lee has worked as a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Center for New Industries and Convergence Technologies at Ajou University, where he researches smart grids, smart factories, virtual reality, business intelligence and ICT convergence. Prior to this appointment, he served as an ombudsman in industrial convergence with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in the Republic of Korea, vice president of the Green Business Division of POSCO ICT, and vice president of the strategic marketing division of SK C&C.
One of the highlights of his career, however, was working in the Green Business Division of POSCO ICT as an executive vice president. Additionally, he helped to broker an agreement between Ajou University and Eon Reality regarding joint research and development and education, as well as establishing the Interactive Digital Center in the Republic of Korea by utilizing world-class experience-oriented virtual reality technology.
An expert in his field, Dr. Lee holds a Doctor of Philosophy in management information systems from Inha University. Throughout his career thus far, he has earned many awards for his outstanding work, winning an Institutional Award of Excellence through the Society for Design and Process Science. Married to Jin-Kyeong Cho, Dr. Lee is the proud father of two children. Looking ahead, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
