A retired finance company executive, Mr. Howard concluded his career as the managing director of the Taurus Advisory Group in 1995. He formerly served as president and chief executive officer of Ehrlich Bober Financial Corporation for a brief time and spent 20 years with the Xerox Corporation in various roles such as controller, executive vice president and member of the board of directors. Between 1967 and 1970, Mr. Howard was the vice president of administration for Shoe Corporations of America in Columbus, OH, and between 1959 and 1967, was a financial executive with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI.
Mr. Howard served on the board of directors for Gould Pumps, Inc. and Sector Management, Inc. He was also a trustee of nursing and home care at the University of Massachusetts and chairman at Commonwealth College, both located in Amherst, MA. He remains active as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and enjoys time spent at the Birchwood Country Club and the La Gorce Country Club.
Born in Boston, Mr. Howard served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army during 1957, the same year he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts. Four years later, he completed a master's degree at Columbia University. Married to his wife Beverly Ruth Kahan for 46 years until her passing, he later married Vivien K. Weissman in 2005. He has two children. Notably, Mr. Howard has been showcased in 60 editions of Who's Who throughout the course of his career, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Finance and Business.
