With 34 years of industry experience, Mr. Davies has worked as the owner of the Davies Law Firm, P.A. since 2006. Prior to this appointment, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas S. O'Brien with the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Furthermore, Mr. Davies has served as an attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Borough of Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, New Jersey since 2000.
In addition to his work within the field, Mr. Davies has contributed to numerous endeavors in his professional circles. Since 2008, he has been the founder of the Divorcing Men's Support Group. He has also held the position of mentor for the Justice Virginia Long Family Law American Inn of Court. Likewise, Mr. Davies was the Panel E chair of the District Fee Arbitration Committee representing District II-A in North Bergen for the Supreme Court of New Jersey from 2013-2015 and since 2017.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Davies pursued an education at the College of the Holy Cross, earning a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy in 1980. He concluded his studies at the Washington College of Law with American University in 1983, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Mr. Davies is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
A leading voice in his trade, Mr. Davies remains affiliated with various organizations in his community and in relation to his areas of expertise. Frequently coaching for junior sports leagues, he was a trustee of the Ridgewood Soccer Association for 17 years. Additionally, he volunteered as an attorney for the Domestic Violence Legal Advocacy Project as a part of Alternatives to Domestic Violence with the Department of Human Services for Bergen County, New Jersey, and as well as a volunteer legal representative for dozens of victims of domestic violence. Maintaining involvement with many charities, Mr. Davies has been an active volunteer with Manavi, a support group that helps South Asian women dealing with domestic violence.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Davies has accrued several accolades and honors throughout his career. He has been previously recognized as a Dean's Fellow for the Washington College of Law with American University. Mr. Davies has also been honored with a BV peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
