A PhD candidate at Pusan National University, Mr. Lee takes great pride in his ability to conduct research and solve problems when confronted with the challenges of the modern world. A respected voice in the scientific community, Mr. Lee has been involved with numerous projects throughout his career. His most recent projects include "Development of a Process Modeler and a Production Scheduler for Kimchi Industry," "Development of M&S-based Controllability Reinforced Manufacturing (CRM) Technology" and "Development of Goal-oriented Manufacturing Process Technologies for Sustainable Self-reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems." In addition, he has delivered presentations at national and international conferences, such as the 2016 KIIE Joint Spring Conference and 16th Asia Pacific Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Conference.
Prior to pursuing formal education, Mr. Lee served in the Republic of Korea Army, where he was recognized as a sergeant with the 53rd Division 125th Regiment 3rd Battalion from 2003 to 2005. Mr. Lee completed a Bachelor of Science through the Department of Business Intelligence at Dong-A University in 2009. He went on to attend Pusan National University, where he received a Master of Science from the Department of Industrial Engineering in 2011. He served as a member of the student council at the CAD/CAM Conference between 2012 and 2014.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lee has authored numerous written works, including "Function and Service Pattern Analysis for Facilitating The Reconfiguration of Collaboration Systems" in Computers & Industrial Engineering, "The Development of Simulation Model for Self-reconfigurable Manufacturing System considering Sustainability Factors" in Procedia Manufacturing and "Framework for Evaluating Reconfigurability of Collaboration System using DEA" in ICIC Express Letters, an international journal of research and surveys. He also holds a patent entitled "Fuel Additive Auto Injection Control System for Shipping Engine and Controlling Method Thereof," which was registered in 2014.
In recognition of his contributions to the field of industrial engineering, Mr. Lee was selected to receive a Student Paper Award at the 17th CAD/CAM Conference in 2012. He has been featured in a wide range of honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in the World. As Mr. Lee moves forward with his career, he looks forward to completing a PhD and pursuing postdoctoral studies, and he aims to eventually work as a professor in department of industrial engineering.
