An of counsel at the firm of Fineman, Krekstein & Harris, P.C., Mr. Rosenstein's extensive career as a transactional lawyer stems from his previous role as partner at Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen in Philadelphia from 1976 to 1997, where he also served as an associate for eight years. His expertise includes complex real estate projects, including the development of planned communities, multiuse properties, and affordable housing. Today, Mr. Rosenstein also advises clients regarding their participation in mediations of complex multiparty commercial disputes or other forms of collaborative problem-solving, as well as serving as a mediator or facilitator.
Mr. Rosenstein first earned an undergraduate degree in 1961 from Harvard University, followed by a JD in 1968. He is an active member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. A respected voice in the field, he has contributed articles to various peer reviewed journals and other publications in his area of expertise and has spoken many times on a number of legal, negotiation, and mediation topics. He is a past president of the Association for Conflict Resolution, where he also served on the board of directors, and is a member of several other professional organizations, including the Counsel of Jewish Federations.
Locally, Mr. Rosenstein has been serving as the president of his condominium complex in Philadelphia since 2017. He is a former trustee of 28 years for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, his current term having begun in 2007. He has also served in several leadership roles for other organizations such as the United Way of Greater Philadelphia, Hillel of Greater Philadelphia and the Synagogue-Federation Council of Greater Philadelphia.
Married to Linda Merle Lederman for 49 years with one daughter, a civilian professor of sociology at the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Rosenstein has been highlighted in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in the East. Holding an AV-Rating with Martindale-Hubbell, he has also been included in Best Lawyers in America every year since 1990 and was selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers every year form 2004 to 2009. He earned a 1993 Distinguished Service Award from Pennsylvania Bar Association, a 2007 Presidential Award from the Association for Conflict Resolution, a 2007 Most Valuable Peacemaker Award from the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, and a 2010 Sir Francis Bacon Alternative Dispute Resolution Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
