Boasting extensive experience with many of the Pacific Northwest's leading companies, executives, entrepreneurs and investors, he focuses his practice by representing clients in manufacturing and distribution, hardware and software technology, health care, construction, real estate, financial services, energy and natural resources. Mr. Krahmer also has hands-on experience with corporate governance, acquisitions, venture capital and finance, and international expansion, as well as with government entities and nonprofit organizations. For more than 30 years, Mr. Krahmer has been practicing exclusively in Oregon and Washington. Prior to Schwabe,, he was a partner at Black Helterline. He also served as the director of Endeavor Capital and PacifiCorp, and he was the manager of mergers and acquisitions and a senior business analyst for PacifiCorp. Mr. Krahmer worked as a commercial banker for more than a decade with the U.S. Bank and was a legislative director for State Representative Delna Jones and State Senator Jeannette Hamby.
Serving as a board member for Regence in Oregon since 2010 and for Pacific Continental Bank from 2002 to 2017, Mr. Krahmer also has served on the Board of Directors for the Portland Business Alliance since 2000. A member of the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the Association for Investment and Research, the Oregon Biotechnology Association and the Software Association of Oregon, among others, Mr. Krahmer was known for serving many years in a number of roles for the Arlington Club, including as president, board member, first vice president and treasurer, and with Jesuit High School as a board member. Locally, Mr. Krahmer has committed himself to multiple community organizations and is actively serving as founder and advisor of the board of directors for the Oregon Innovation Council.
Honored for his work, Mr. Krahmer was Named One of Top 50 Leaders to Watch by Oregon Business Magazine, received a James B. Castles Leadership Award from the Oregon State Bar and earned a President's Award from Oregon State Bar, among several other accolades. For his service to the community, he received a Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America, a Father of the Year Award from the American Diabetes Association in 2014 and the JDRF Living and Giving Award in 2016. He has been highlighted in more than 30 editions of Who's Who as well, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World. Mr. Krahmer holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and political science, Master of Business Administration in financial organizational theory, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in corporate finance, all through Willamette University.
