MAPLE SHADE, NJ, June 25, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Geisenheimer has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Although he is now retired, Mr. Geisenheimer accrued a plethora of expertise through his work as a motor control troubleshooter for H&H Baking Company, Harder's Electric, and Campbell's Soup Company over the course of 40 years. Additionally, he built and wired control panels for Precision Automation. When he was younger and working as a stock boy at H&H Bakery, he knew an electrician who asked if he would be interested in the field. Despite his lack of knowledge in the field at the time, his friend reassured him that if he received a bit of training, he could be a great electrician. After three years in vocational night school, he graduated as an industrial electrician.
Since his retirement, Mr. Geisenheimer has focused his energy on working with the Scouts, of which he has been a participant for the past 50 years. His greatest love has always been working with children and seeing that they enjoy themselves. Currently, he oversees about 60 children across seven or eight scout leaders. Despite his roles as scout master and unit commissioner, he will do whatever it takes to make his kids happy. One of the highlights of his career was being presented with a memento from his summer camp kids. While at camp, he made up impromptu songs and would sing them on the top of the nearby hill every morning. At the end of the summer, the staff presented him with a keepsake to remember his camp experience: a paddle with the names of the children and the song lyrics he had developed. In the coming years, Mr. Geisenheimer intends to continue with the scouts so he can make a difference in the lives of his kids.
