Prior to this appointment, she held multiple positions at Friends Hospital, including medical director from 2000 to 2003 and assistant director of the Crisis Response Center from 1999 to 2000. Previously, she served Pennsylvania Hospital as a resident from 1996 to 1999 and chief resident from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Tran began her career at Pennsylvania Hospital as an intern from 1995 to 1996.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Tran pursued an education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1990. She concluded her studies at Temple University in 1994, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine. In addition to her primary trade, Dr. Tran remains affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the Philadelphia Psychiatric Society, for which she held the role of committee member in 1999.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Dr. Tran has accrued several accolades and honors throughout her impressive career. She was presented with the Merit Award at Pennsylvania Hospital from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Tran was selected for inclusion in many editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.
