An accomplished listee, Ms. Carethers celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Carethers is the founder of ANJ Pharmaceutical Innovations, an organization she established in 2017 that conducts A1C testing for the diabetic population. Founding her company because she felt that diabetes is the most devastating of all chronic health conditions, she also acknowledges that there is no regular point of care testing. Ms. Carethers co-founded Carethers Consulting in 2001. It is a pharmacist and pharmacy technician staffing company. It has been in operation since 2001.
Attributing her success to attending school in a very urban area, which gave Ms. Carethers the hands-on skill set needed to maneuver through the hurdles of her profession, although it wasn't as selective a school to which she could have gone. She is also very grateful to her mentor, Cliff Riley, who was the district manager for CVS and nominated her for the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
After working as a pharmacy intern for Perry Drug Store, now a Rite Aid Pharmacy, in Detroit from 1992 to 1995, Ms. Carethers earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy at Wayne State University. A licensed pharmacist in Michigan, she is also CPR trained through the American Heart Association and is immunization certified through the American Pharmacists Association.
The founder and president of T.M.G. Investment Club since 1999, Ms. Carethers is a longstanding member of the American Pharmacists Association. She has been cited in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women. Married to Paul Anthony Carethers since August 1994, Ms. Carethers is the proud mother of three sons.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Andrea Carethers has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
