Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Romero pursued an education at Pratt Institute, completing coursework in fine arts, film and video from 1970 to 1973, as well as from 1980 to 1982. Notably, he participated in a peaceful protest at Brooklyn Technical High School in 1970 by hanging posters of Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and Marcus Garvey, which warranted suspension and was later reported in the New York Daily News. Earlier this year, Mr. Romero's professional efforts were showcased by Hype Magazine, highlighting his work in the Idea 2 Impact program.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Romero has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career.
