With an impressive career history, Dr. Cho currently holds multiple positions simultaneously, including vice representative of faculty members at Jeonju University since 2016 and a faculty member at the Graduate School of Alternative Medicine at Jeonju University since 2008. Additionally, he has worked as the associate editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Health Care and Information Technology since 2016, the associate editor-in-chief of the Society of Digital Policy and Management since 2015, and the program chair of the International Conference on Digital Policy and Management since 2015. Furthermore, Dr. Cho has been a faculty member of the Department of Exercise Prescription and Alternative Medicine at the College of Medical Sciences of Jeonju University since 2007. Recently Dr. Cho has been acting as a consultant to Korea Productivity Center. He will serve in this position from 2018 to 2020.
Dr. Cho previously held positions as a chairman of the WT subcommittee in the Korea Convergence Society from 2015 to 2017, an editor of the Korean Journal of Physical Education from 2015 to 2016, an advisory committee member of the Alternative Medicine Policy Committee from 2010 to 2013, and an editor of the Research of Developmental Disabilities Journal from 2008 to 2010. Prior to these roles, he served as secretary of the Korean Association of Faculty Members of Alternative Medicine from 2007 to 2013 and as a faculty member in the Department of Alternative Medicine at Kwangju Women's University in 2006. Dr. Cho completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he studied from 1998 to 2001.
As an established expert, Dr. Cho has authored many works. In 2016, he wrote "Potential therapeutic mechanism of extremely low-frequency high-voltage electric fields in cells" which was published in Technology and Health Care. In 2014, he wrote the works "Comparison of the Effects of Taping and Massage Therapy on Shoulder Pain in Elderly Patients" and "Job Creation Strategies in the Field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine," both of which were published in the International Journal of Applied Engineering Research. In 2013, Dr. Cho had his piece, "Effect of the Sacro-Occipital Technique Category II Blocking on Attention and Postural Sway," published in the Journal of Cases on Information Technology and "Is 1/f sound more effective than simple resting in reducing stress response?" in Technology and Health Care.
Dr. Cho also wrote on Spinal Column Thermal Massage Device Algorithm Development for Ceragem in 2010 and he ultimately received a $630,000 grant for use in a clinical study of the subject matter. In addition, he was presented with Outstanding Paper Awards from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development from 2014 to 2017 and from The International Council on Clean Transportation between 2013 and 2016. Dr. Cho is an active member of his scholarly community; one such organization he is a member of is the Korean Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
Moreover, Dr. Cho has been the director of the Korea Association of Psychomotorik since 2008 as well as Korean Developmental Disabilities Association since 2008. He has been active as a member of the advisory committee at the Korean Chiropractic Association since 2001. Beyond this academic involvement, Dr. Cho also served with the Capital Defense Command in the Republic of Korea Army.
