In this position, she provides clinical and patient support whilst working alongside audiologists and trains new audiologists on applicable software. Prior to this appointment, she was a Clinical Audiologist and served as the Supervisor of Audiology at both The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX and Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. Her areas of expertise included diagnostic audiology, pediatric audiology, and central auditory processing disorders. She also served as a parent-infant advisor for the hearing impaired, during which time she would make house visits to patients and worked directly with parents in need. Dr. Loiselle began her career as a teacher for the hearing impaired, offering her expertise to pre-school students to upper elementary grades.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Loiselle pursued an education at Trinity University, where she earned an undergraduate degree. She continued her academic efforts with a master's degree in audiology from Utah State University. Following these accomplishments, Dr. Loiselle concluded her studies in 2013 at Arizona State University, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy with a focus in cochlear implants.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Dr. Loiselle has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has contributed support to the Public Broadcasting System, the Classical Musical Station, and the Arizona Humane Society. She has maintained involvement with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. She found success with her written works as well, having penned articles and research papers for such esteemed publications as the Journal of Speech Language and Hearing Research, Otology & Neurotology, Audiology and Neurotology, and the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, among others. In light of her exceptional undertakings, Dr. Loiselle has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career, including a research grant from the National Institutes of Health in 2011.
