Dr. Triandis has established the Harry and Pola Triandis Fellowship in the Department of Psychology of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Triandis has established the Harry and Pola Triandis Fellowship in the Department of Psychology of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. The Fellowship will be awarded by the Department for the first time in 2019.
An expert in his field, Dr. Triandis holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, a Master of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. from the prestigious Cornell University. In order to keep abreast of changes in the field, he affiliates himself with the International Association of Applied Psychology, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, as well as many others.
For his professional accomplishments, Dr. Triandis has earned a plethora of awards, including the James M. Cattell Award from the American Psychological Society, the Best Paper of the Year Award from the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, and an Award for Significant Contributions to the Development of Psychology through the Inter-American Society of Psychology. Additionally, he has been featured in Who's Who Among Human Service Professionals, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare. Looking ahead, Dr. Triandis intends to continue delivering his knowledge of the field to others through his role as professor emeritus.
