At the inception of his career, he joined the U.S. Public Health Service Bureau of Prisons for two years. Over the decades, he has honed his expertise in public health through varying roles with the L.A. County General Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, Haile Selassie I University, Frontier Nursing Service, the Citrus-Levy County Health Department and Waterman Memorial Hospital.
An expert in the field, Dr. Dodge holds a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University, a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, he has utilized his knowledge to write a number of books in the field, including "Tim's Story: Spiritual Perspective of Health," "Dan's Story: One Man's Discovery of His Inner Health Power," "Ten Steps to Exceptional Health" and "Be Healthy: Simple Guidelines for Lifelong Well-Being."
For his excellence in the field, Dr. Dodge has been recognized with the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, the Citizen of the Year Award through Citrus County Chronicle, and numerous features in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
