A venerated and accomplished music educator and singer, Ms. Belich has amassed more than four decades of professional experience in her areas of expertise. Having most recently served as an opera and concert singer in a freelance capacity in New York City and Milwaukee from 1972 to 2014, she also acted as a studio vocal and instrumental teacher from 1968 to 2016, instructor at Cardinal Stritch University from 1999 to 2014, and elementary school music teacher in the West Allis/West Milwaukee Public School District from 1996 to 2014. Prior to these appointments, Ms. Belich was an elementary school music teacher in the Kenosha Unified Public School District from 1991 to 1996 and a singer with the New York City Opera Company from 1997 to 1990.
Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. Belich was a Master Adjudicator for the Wisconsin School Music Association. She currently serves as a preliminary judge of opera singers for the Washington, D. C. International Competition. She was a mentor in the West Allis/West Milwaukee Public School District and a cooperating teacher for four student teachers. In 1975, she sang as an Apprentice with the Central City Opera Company in Colorado. Furthermore, she held the position of union delegate with the New York City Opera Touring Company in 1990. Likewise, she has served her communities in a multitude of capacities, including holding various positions with Mount Hope Lutheran Church, Grace and St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church. She directed the Mount Hope Handbell Choir, co-directed the Mount Hope Instrumental Ensemble, and played cello in the Racine Symphony Orchestra. She was a performing member of the MacDowell Club in Milwaukee. She continues to serve as cantor at Grace and St. Paul's Lutheran Church and to play cello and handbells at Trinity Lutheran Church.
To prepare for her illustrious career, Ms. Belich pursued a formal education at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in 1974. Having been accepted to the prestigious Juilliard School, she earned a Master of Music there in 1977. In order to earn her teaching license in Wisconsin, she studied at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Ms. Belich attributes her success to the influence of many mentors and colleagues throughout her life, in the fields of music and education and in church.
Ms. Belich was awarded a four-year tuition scholarship to the University of Wisconsin for her cello playing. She continued to play in the University Orchestra while pursuing her vocal degree. As a singer, she received the First Place Award from the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs in 1974. She was a regional finalist in New York City for the Metropolitan Opera Auditions in 1978. The New York Singing Teachers Association presented her in recital at CAMI Hall in 1979. Ms. Belich was selected for inclusion in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
