Ms. Monet, related to Claude Monet and self-taught, began her career in marketing after graduating from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in international marketing. She held positions as assistant to the director of new product development with Pepsico, assistant product manager for Bristol Myers and product counselor for Avon before shifting her career toward art. Ms. Monet served as general manager for Promotora Artesanal de Jalisco in Guadalajara, Mexico and buyer for Nouveau Artist in New York City.
Ms. Monet's own artwork is inspired by gardens, landscapes and other vistas around the world. Her impressionist paintings have been displayed in numerous international museums and locations, including the Marumo Gallery and the Everarts Galleries in Paris, Omell Galleries in London, and Mitsukoshi Galleries and Seibu Gallery in Japan. Domestically, Ms. Monet has had her work shown at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, the Albright-Knox Museum in Buffalo and the Bronxville Public Library. Ms. Monet's work has also appeared on greeting cards by Caspari, Inc., posters by Scandecor and limited edition silkscreens by John Szoke Graphics. She is the official painter for the Cercle des Palaces Retrouves in France.
Ms. Monet is a member of Salon des Artistes Independents in Paris. Outside of her artistic endeavors, she is a hospital volunteer and routinely donates her time and efforts to church and animal welfare charity work. In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Monet was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who of American Women.
