WHITE HOUSE, TN, September 12, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Reba Wauford with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Wauford celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For much of her life, it seemed as though Ms. Wauford was destined to become an artist. She was known for creating beautiful place cards for dinner parties at her mother's house in her youth, and as a high school art teacher, she created decorations for her classroom that her principal called masterpieces. At one point, she also began taking writing classes, which provided her with another outlet to utilize her boundless creativity.
In an effort to combine her many talents while making a difference in the lives of others, Ms. Wauford began working as an art teacher in Williamsburg County Public Schools. From there, she held similar roles with Charleston County Public Schools and Horry County Public Schools. As a certified teacher in South Carolina and Tennessee, she has taught in several school districts in both states. She also briefly served as a financial clerk for the Chrysler Credit Corporation and an assistant for an architecture firm.
From 2002 to 2012, Ms. Wauford was an art teacher in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, which provides educational services for children and families in three counties. One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been witnessing the growth and professional success stories of her former students, many of whom have expressed their sincere gratitude for the role she played in their lives. She is also grateful for the opportunity to chase her dreams of becoming famous for her art.
Ms. Wauford holds an Associate of Arts from Volunteer State Community College and a Bachelor of Science from Peabody College of Education and Human Development. In her retirement, she enjoys hiking, writing poetry and taking photos.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Reba Wauford has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
