Interested in eliminating her own misery, Ms. Be was a student of Lyndon Duke of Adversity Research. Becoming an advanced student of his, she was able to teach the material herself, which was a difficult body of work to do. A transformed person today, Ms. Be became an enlightened, liberated person despite an abusive past. Remarkable that the human spirit is so powerful, she is forever grateful for being able to eliminate both pain and shame. Today, she is a much more productive and effective person who can pay it forward to others through her work.
The author of "Exceptionally vs. Average Person" in 2009 and former editor and writer of the "Livewire" newsletter from 1981 to 1985, Ms. Be is currently working on a book on suicide. A member of the Reevaluation Counseling Community, the NAACP, and a 12 step recovery program, and a past member of multiple other professional organizations, she has also been active in her local community with Big Brother Big Sister, the St. Francis Homeless Shelter, and the Special Olympics, among others.
Honored with Unsung Hero Awards in 2018 and 1996 and a State Honor for Multiculturalism from Qwest in 1994, Ms. Be has also been included in Who's Who in the West, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America. Notably, she holds the equivalent of a graduate degree in the productivity of language adversity research. A proud mother of three children, being a mother has been one of her most meaningful accomplishments. When she isn't busy with work, family or friends, she enjoys staying active by walking. She also enjoys reading, music and studying language analysis.
