TIMONIUM, MD, September 17, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Connie Norigenna Pulitano with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Pulitano celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For nearly 60 years, Ms. Pulitano has held many secretarial and administrative roles. She is currently volunteering as a secretary with the Mercy Ridge Chapter of the Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association. She has also been a longtime office manager with Georgia Pacific Corporation since 1989. Furthermore, Ms. Pulitano maintains a small home business where she designs wedding invitations and provides clients with various writing services such as resumes and term papers.
Born in Sicily, Italy, Ms. Pulitano and her family relocated to the United States when she was just six years old. When she first entered the country alongside her parents, she fondly remembers intently watching secretaries typing and taking dictation while sitting in a judge's office. When she was old enough to earn a living, Ms. Pulitano later devoted a full career to the same field, which she enjoyed to the fullest.
First hired as a secretary for Ka-Line Pool Products in Hialeah, Fla. in 1959, Ms. Pulitano later worked for various companies in Baltimore, where she has remained ever since. During her tenure, she also devoted nine years as a student council moderator, secretary, learning center coordinator, and teacher of remedial reading to grades 1 through 8 at the Cathedral School in Baltimore between 1974 and 1983. Introduced to Sister Jane who was the Principal of Cathedral School, she was asked to establish and head a student council. Accepting the challenge, she oversaw all sorts of activities, including taking the students to visit the elderly in area nursing homes, hosting student-teacher days and breakfasts for the teachers, and more. It was one of the most exciting times in Ms. Pulitano's career.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Connie Norigenna Pulitano has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
