An expert in her field, Dr. Porter holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and an Doctor of Medicine from UCLA. After graduating, she became certified in neurology, psychiatry, behavioral neuro-behavior and neuropsychiatry. Due to the fact that the field of medicine is always changing, Dr. Porter remains aware of changes by way of her affiliations with the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association and the American Neurological Association.
