Earlier in his career, he joined Ohio State University as a research specialist. He shined in education with Ohio State University and Ohio University for many years and in different positions, including audio-visual program coordinator, multimedia producer, director, coordinator of instructional development and director of instructional development. Additionally, he has gained valuable expertise with Time Warner Cable and J&J Productions.
Prior to beginning in the field, Mr. Johnson completed a Bachelor of Science in speech and journalism education, and a Master of Arts in educational communications and technology from Ohio State University. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, he remains affiliated with the International TV Association, the U.S. Distance Learning Association, the Society for Applied Learning Technologies and the Health Sciences Communications Association. Throughout his career, he has lent his expertise as an editor and producer to numerous projects, including "The Doctor Is In," "In Search of Nature Lost" and "Designing Effective Video Graphics." For his professional accomplishments, he has been honored with awards through the John Muir Medical Film Festival and the Columbus International Film Festival. Looking forward, Mr. Johnson intends to continue enjoying his retirement.
