Retired financial executive of many years, Ms. Voss most recently served as the chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Ally Corporate Finance in New York City between 2006 and 2017. She was also the managing director and executive vice president of National Auto Finance in Jacksonville, FL, between 2004 and 2006, and chief financial officer and executive vice president of Nuvell Financial Services/Credit Corporation in Little Rock, AR, between 1997 and 2004. Ms. Voss formerly spent 16 years with General Motors Acceptance Corporation, working her way up from an accountant and financial analyst to credit analysis manager, financial planning manager, assistant treasurer and finance director during 1996 and 1997, among other roles. Currently, she serves as a regional board director for Thrivent Member Network and is on the board of visitors of the school of business administration at her alma mater, Oakland University.
A recognized visionary financial and operating senior executive and accomplished turnaround expert who devoted more than 35 years to the industry, Ms. Voss's career engineered and led many corporate initiatives that have resulted in both profitability and competitive strength. She also gained a tremendous amount of expertise in corporate restructuring, business launches, acquisitions, integrations, risk management/mitigation and contract negotiations. Notably, one of Ms. Voss' proudest moments in her career was during her nine-year career with Nuvell Financial Services. Starting with zero financial assets in 1997, she and her team were able to turn it into a $7 billion company in just over seven years. She also authored financial software in 1988 to propel her career and the industry forward.
Ms. Voss served on the board of directors at Saab Financial Services Corporation between 2002 and 2003, Nuvell Credit Corporation and Nuvell Financial Services Corporation between 1997 and 2006, and Ally/General Motors Acceptance Corporation Commercial Finance between 2006 and 2014. She is a longtime member of the Financial Management Association, Golden Key International Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma. Locally, she has served on the board of directors of the Lutheran High School in Little Rock, taught at St. John Sunday School, was active on the Arkansas Sales Tax Advisory Committee, coached at the Rochester YMCA, and serves on the board of directors of Scenic Golf and Country Club.
A GM fellow in 1984, Ms. Voss has been highlighted in more than 40 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. She holds a Bachelor of Science in management with concentrations in accounting and economics from Oakland University and a Master of Business Administration in finance, computer and information systems from the University of Michigan. She also completed the Director's Development Program at Kellogg Executive Education and the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College.
