From 1999 until his retirement in 2005, Mr. Nadeau worked as a staff assistant at the Wanaque Academic Center of Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ. He began his professional career as an orderly at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY from 1969 to 1971. Immediately following this post, he was a record storage clerk at Continental Insurance Company in Glens Falls, NY from 1972 to 1975 and then a long-time purchasing agent at Maersk Inc. in Madison, NJ from 1975 to 1993. Mr. Nadeau then worked as a college service assistant at Passaic County Community College from 1993 to 1999.
Mr. Nadeau grew up in the small town of Fort Edward, NY, where there weren't many jobs available. Before pursuing an education, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1970. After his service, Mr. Nadeau moved to the big city in 1975 and had an entry-level job at a steam ship company.
Mr. Nadeau was always interested in English and poetry, and he studied Aesthetic Realism under the philosopher, Eli Siegel, in New York from 1977 to 1981. His teachings showed him how to like the world through seeing it as oneness of opposites. His company sent him to obtain an Associate of Arts in English with honors from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in 1992. Mr. Nadeau has also been an actor and singer with the LB Audio Players in New York from 1979 to 1981, working with sighted and blind performers.
Mr. Nadeau has authored one book titled "The Adventures of Prudence Longface," which was published in 1993. He has also been a member of the American Legion, and enjoys doing a variety of activities in his spare time including bowling, swimming, boating, woodworking, and singing. Mr. Nadeau is listed in several editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in the World.
