A highly accomplished artist, Ms. Arnold is both a painter and art teacher. She was previously the owner of Gloria Malcolm Arnold Fine Art from 2006 to 2008. She has exhibited her work in locations such as the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Barnsite Art Studio and Gallery, and Bennington Center for the Arts, among others, and was included in the Women Artists of the West's Fifth Juried Competition in 2003. Ms. Arnold has contributed to the books "Best of Flower Painting 2" and "Best of Wildlife Art 2," as well the Art of the Animal Kingdom Exhibition and numerous articles to professional journals.
Ms. Arnold was the recipient of the Silver Medal from the National Park Academy of the Arts, which also named her to the Top 200 Arts for the Parks from 2001 to 2003 and Top 100 Arts for the Parks in 2006. Ms. Arnold was awarded the James G. Saunders Memorial Award from the North Shore Arts Association in 1997, Award of Excellence from the Oil Painters of America in 1997, First in Oils Award at the International Nature Fine Arts Competition in 1998, and the Purchase Prize at the Colonie Art League National Exhibition in 2000.
Ms. Arnold is a member of the Oil Painters of America, Academy Artists Association, Kent Art Association, Berkshire Guild of Artists, Lee Cultural Council and Pittsfield Art League. In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Arnold was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who of American Women.
