Earlier in her career, she held the roles of instructor and assistant professor at the Rosary College of Arts & Sciences at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Over the years, she has gained valuable expertise as a grant writer as well, writing for the Wisconsin Arts Board, the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission and the National Commission on Dance Education Standards.
An expert in her field, Dr. Brennan holds a Bachelor of Science from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin System. In addition to being a performer and choreographer of modern dance, she is a regular contributor of articles to professional journals. In order to keep abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Brennan affiliates herself with the American Association of Laban Movement Analysis, the National Dance Association, the Congress on Research in Dance and the Wisconsin Dance Council Inc.
For her excellence in the field, Dr. Brennan has earned the Vilas Associates Award in Arts and Humanities, as well as numerous research grants through the University of Wisconsin System. Looking ahead, she intends to experience the continued success of her career. In light of all of her accomplishments, Dr. Brennan has previously been selected for inclusion in the 18th edition of Who's Who of American Women and the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the Midwest.
